Company History

PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang Tbk ("Company") was established in 2001 with its headquarters in East Java. Beginning with the manufacturing of biological fertilizer, a new production line was created to expand the Company's production capacity. The Company adjusts to new technical advancements through extensive conversations and research with specialists, consultants, and engineers from both inside and outside the country. The company first used the NPK Steam Granulation I production line in 2012, followed by the NPK Steam Granulation II in 2020. The Company, as a producer of non-subsidized NPK fertilizer and other types of fertilizer, is always entirely committed to enhancing agricultural production and maintaining national food security throughout time.

Market developments, combined with superior product penetration and quality, have given the Company more confidence in its ability to improve performance. Since becoming a public company and listing its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the stock code "NPGF" on April 14, 2021, the Company has turned into a firm with long-term commercial prospects based on its vision, mission, and values. As a result, the Company raised the capacity of the NPK Steam Granulation I machine to 80,000 MT per year, as well as briquette and pan machines, bringing the Company's production capacity up to 220,000 MT per year.

The Company's commitment to sustainable development is demonstrated by its R&D efforts to generate good new products and increase the benefits of existing products. In 2022, the Company started the construction of a new factory with supporting facilities in Kecamatan Panceng, Kabupaten Gresik. The construction project completed in the second semester of 2023. The company has innovated from utilizing steam granulation technologies to dry granulation, with a manufacturing capacity of 72,000 MT per year.
